from his bail, and taken refuge

in Macao.

the Warrant and sopics of the Depositions to the Governor of - Macao, and requested His Exceleney to be good enough to cause the_ fugitive to be delivered up to _

justice

Governor Rosa replied

on the 6th July last, and informed

me that the fugitive had been promptly arrested. He added that, as the proceedings would have to follow the terms established in "connection with Extradition in

harmony with the prosedure of Portuguese legislation, he would report to me, as soon as the result of the trial had been arrived at."
